Sydney started CrossFit in 2012 with her dad. They both immediately fell in love with the gym and community, and not long after joining Sydney was asked if she would be interested in coaching. She earned her CFL-1, and has been coaching ever since! Sydney played softball all through high school and college, and CrossFit gave her a great foundation of training that not only helped her performance on the field, but her overall health and fitness as a whole. Sydney loves the team and community feel of a CrossFit class, as it gives her the competitive feel that she had while playing softball. What Sydney loves most about coaching is seeing people from all backgrounds being able to accomplish things that they never thought they would be able to do.
Since Sydney started coaching she has earned her CFL-2 certification, CSCS from the NSCA, and a Master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning.
